Aether Interactive is a small design company founded in in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2006. We provide a full range of design services targeted at individuals, organizations, and businesses throughout the Southwest.
our name
"Aether" (pronounced ee'thur) is the fifth element of the Western Classical Elements, the other four being of course earth, air, fire, and water. Aether was thought to be the transmission medium through which light propagates. It was believed to occupy every point in space, including the space within material bodies.

Jeff Tomlinson
founder
Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Mexico, Jeff has creative roots that run both broad and deep. Following college, he began an accidental yet successful career in sales, developing an understanding of business and buyer-seller relationships at work while honing his more innate artistic and technical inclinations in his spare time. Happy in his life but not entirely satisfied, a plan was ultimately hatched that would allow him to combine many of his diverse talents and interests into a single pursuit. Aether Interactive is the direct result of that plan.
Balancing Jeff's creative proclivities are qualities he has inherited, by nature or nurture, from a long ancestral line of pragmatists. He believes that exceptional design, first and foremost, must be built upon a solid foundation – that a thing not done right is seldom worth doing at all. In the context of his business, what is "right" is what best fulfills the requirements of the project, the message, the client, and the end user. No less, no more.
